Olatunji Olowolafe’s entrepreneurial journey began with a role as the Managing Director and Chairman of Deux Project Limited. Adaptability and foresight changed the company’s focus from healthcare to general civil engineering, construction, consultancy, and maintenance. This change positioned Deux Project Limited as a significant contributor to Nigeria’s economy across the Healthcare, Public Works, Power, Roads, and Infrastructure sectors. He is also a serial investor with business interests in other sectors, including oil & gas, power, real estate, mining, and technology, further exemplifying a multifaceted approach to contributing to the nation’s progress.
Infrastructure Development and Impact In 2008, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism and leadership as the Chairman of the Lekki Concession Company (“LCC”). Leading the successful upgrade and expansion of the Lekki-Epe Expressway and coastal road, a landmark project that significantly improved transport infrastructure in Nigeria. But the impact didn’t stop there. In 2009, he also contributed to the manufacturing industry through a role in a consortium of investors that acquired a significant stake in GZ Industries, a local manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans.
Away from professional commitments, he enjoys yoga, long-distance running, and marathon training – activities that align his mind and body. His love for reading provides personal enjoyment and fuels his relentless pursuit of self-improvement. This balance of professionalism and personal enrichment has been instrumental in my ability to manage career pursuits and emotional well-being. Married with three children and two grandsons, believes in keeping home life happy and peaceful.

One such recognition includes status as a World Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh – an honor bestowed on individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and service.
In 2020, she played a pivotal role in the Covid-19 response for Ekiti State. As the Medical Logistics and Project Nomination Committee Chair, I upgrade healthcare facilities, such as the Oba Adejugbe Specialist Hospital, and advance the State’s research and testing capabilities. Efforts also included setting up a Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory in Ekiti State Teaching Hospital for COVID-19 testing, exemplifying continued commitment to improving public health infrastructure and social impact.
